If you go to a party with Filipinos, you will have an amazing time, especially if Imabelle Kraft is the host. This was a special event held at the historic Manila Hotel that really exposes you to Filipino culture. It was the 119th Calbayog City Fiesta Celebration of Metro Manila based Calbayognons. There were Pinoy native dances and singing as well as some more modern fun. Travis Kraft's book teaching you how to move to the Philippines: http://amzn.to/2feCzoy
-This video is not an Anti-Hispanic culture documentary and doesn't aim to abolished Hispanic/American culture in Philippines, I think it's important to remember that we need to appreciate every collective culture that history has throwned to the islands of the Philippines, for it would be a monument of the richness of the country, to remind every Filipinos that many great nations with different cultures of the world have fought for it's richness but in the end it was taken back by the Filipino people, and the Filipino people alone. That way they can feel a sense of uniqueness among the other Asian cultures! i don't want this video to be misunderstood plus it could make Spain and America get away with everything they did while colonizing The Philippines, if Filipinos just erase the cultur...

March 12, 2017. Once again, I hate the title but it has to be done to at least attract more viewers. I like stupid titles with stupid everything cause its fun to just goof around especially with fun things like vacation and videos. Anyways. My favorite part of the trip. Where I see my family again from both sides. It's been 17 years for most, or never at all for some. We visit where I got baptized, my grandma's place (where I used to frequent at, as a kid), and UP Town Center
Over ice, sweet, bitter, shaken—the perfect cocktail changes depending on where you are, and the best mixologists know that. GRID x Tanduay: Cocktail Culture is a series following Dondz Bolante around the Philippines as he crafts cocktails inspired by its different cities. The unceasing beat of the country’s capital is felt best at the historic district of Binondo, where one can catch a glimpse of the glory days of Manila. Then the town’s thoroughfare, Escolta Street is once again reclaiming its place at the center, dusting itself up to become a hub for bridging the old and the new. Atop the First United Building, the area’s tallest at the time of its completion, Donz gives us a take on a classic, a simple drink to match the grit of the old city. Calamansi, ginger, and a swig of the good...

Since then, the fan favorite has not let up on the competition in regards to face or fashion. To prove that she is ahead in the race, Manila has teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producers Brian Kierulf and Joshua Schwartz of KNS Productions (Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, 50 Cent) for her debut single, "Hot Couture". And now this addictive dance hit has a music video that is as fun and colorful as Manila herself. True to the song's title, the video showcas...

And so, on August 23 and 24, 2014 the showcase of Philippine culture and cuisine that is Taste of Manila gets its first staging on Bathurst St. at Wilson Ave. in North York, now and then the beehive of activity for many Filipinos. In this first part of the interview on Tuesday, July 15, Rolly tells the story of Taste of Manila and how he waited all these years to see its realization.

It would seem that Filipinos are the only ethnic group in multicultural Toronto without a street festival that highlights aspects of Philippine life, according to Rolly Mangante, founder of the Taste of Manila. But that would change come Aug. 23 and 24 when his organization, the Philippine Cultural Community Centre, launches Taste of Manila on Bathurst St. at Wilson Ave., which in itself is the centre of Filipino social and economic activities in Greater Toronto Area. Rolly Mangante elaborates on this festival in this second and concluding part of the interview conducted on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his office.

Not knowing very much about the Philippines before I visited, I was pleasantly surprised by Manila and Subic and how they both reminded me of America. The highlight of the trip was getting a chance to visit a Vietnamese boat people refugee camp near Baataan. I met some friendly Pinoys too. The food was great. The transportation readily available. And the landscape extremely beautiful. A brief documentary about Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Every year, more than 5.5 million tourists take their vacations in the Philippines, and often Manila is their very first stop. Nearly 16 million people live in the Metro Manila area, which is made up of many smaller cities, including Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and more. Manila is where big business takes place, where major investments are made, and where residential and commercial real estate is never-ending. Many tourists enjoy the malls, the restaurants, the museums, the nightlife, and even the beautiful Manila Bay. Probably, the biggest tourist attraction is the SM Mall of Asia - the 3rd largest mall in the world. For more details about Manila or the Philippines in general, visit ...
